January 31, 2013
Dear
Families and Staff,
It
is with mixed emotion that the Child Development Committee has received and
accepted the resignation of Vicki Coger. We recognized that this departure is
not what Vicki or the preschool had hoped for, however necessary due to the
increased care for her special needs child. We thank her for her years of service and
support her in this most difficult decision.
The
preschool remains a place of excitement, joy and wonderful learning
opportunities for our students and staff.
Our philosophy is thriving, and will continue to be nurtured by the
strong staff and support system we already have in place.
With
that being said, the Child Development Committee has promoted Mrs. Stacey
Rommich to the position of Director of Providence Presbyterian Preschool
effective February 1, 2013. We are
overjoyed with the addition of Stacey as our new Director and are confident in
the experience, knowledge, support and love she brings to our program, its
children, families and staff. Please join us in congratulating her and
supporting her in her new role here at PPPS.
Although
Stacey will assume the Directorship beginning this Friday a Transition Plan is
in effect and over the next few weeks Vicki will be on hand to provide support
to Stacey and the staff. We know that the community of PPPS will embrace our
staff and administration and provide the time needed to make this transition as
seamless as possible.
We
thank you for your continued support of our program.
Sincerely,
Mrs.
Marcia H. Ingle, Chairperson
